Inspired by bamboo fly rods, I have combined sections of bamboo fitted and glued individually into a layered handle. For this landing net I selected an eastern style hoop of bamboo and walnut. This net measures 21 inches overall with an 8 inch handle. The deep epoxy finish protects and enhances th net.
I have made these landing nets with a variety of wood to ascent the bamboo of the handle and hoop, including Texas ebony, Koa, maple burl and black walnut.
Available as a custom order in with a slightly larger hoop for a ghost net bag. My nets are all signed and numbered. Has a custom in shop made brass eye to attach the net to your vest or belt.
